Choose the right readiness check.
Start with the quick snapshot when you want an immediate score. Use the comprehensive assessment when you want a deeper CEC-reviewed planning report before a follow-up conversation.
A guided workspace for moving Sources of Evidence from idea to readiness.
MPD Studio is a guided workspace and service layer for Magnet Program Directors — organize standards, guide writers, track evidence, request readiness review, and prepare final files inside one Roadmap-centered workflow, instead of managing it all across disconnected spreadsheets, email threads, and shared drives.
designation documentation is hard to manage, not just to write.
Standards are spread across many owners, evidence files live in multiple places, and drafts move at different speeds — so leadership rarely has a clear, current view of where each Source of Evidence actually stands.
Scattered ownership
Standards sit with different writers and teams, each tracked their own way. No single place shows who owns what, or what moved this week.
Evidence in many places
Narratives, exhibits, and supporting files live across drives, inboxes, and folders — making it hard to see whether a standard is genuinely supported.
No portfolio-level view
Leaders can't easily see what is not started, drafting, waiting for review, in cleanup, or ready — so status lives in spreadsheets that go stale.
One Roadmap that keeps every standard visible and actionable.
MPD Studio gives the MPD a structured Roadmap — the home base for the full designation documentation cycle. Each Source of Evidence shows its current status and its next action, so the team always knows what to do next and leaders always know where things stand.
From there, the user moves into each standard's own workspace and changes rooms — Write, Check, Clean up, Ready — instead of being sent out to disconnected tools.
Five steps, inside one workspace.
Start
Capture the standard, owner, timeline, and starting context on the Roadmap.
Write
Draft with the Guided Writer or the Manual Draft Studio — without leaving the standard.
Check
Send a ready draft for a structured readiness review and clear gap feedback.
Clean up
Resolve suggested fixes and decisions, and prepare the final version.
Ready
Keep the final state visible for MPD tracking and leadership reporting.
Everything a standard needs, in one place.
Each tool is a room inside the standard's workspace. Expand any tool to see what it supports.
The home base — and a native room for every standard.
The Roadmap shows each Source of Evidence by status and surfaces what needs attention. From there, each standard has its own workspace, where the user stays inside the SOE and changes rooms instead of jumping to disconnected external tools.
What the Roadmap helps with +
- See all standards in one place
- Identify which need action
- Track recent active standards
- Navigate into each workspace
- Filter by status, domain, owner, or need
- Keep the team on the next step
What the SOE workspace provides +
- Current status & next action
- Draft and evidence visibility
- Review and cleanup state
- Recent activity
- Ownership and due dates
- Exportable state summary
Guided drafting room
Helps teams develop standard-aligned draft language while staying tied to the selected standard — moving from raw context, evidence, and outcomes into a more complete draft.
What it supports +
- Conversational drafting support
- Standard-specific guidance
- Uses attached context
- Finds missing story elements
- Drafts in a submission-ready voice
- Never leaves the standard
Supports the MPD and writing team. It does not replace MPD judgment, source validation, or final leadership review.
Write directly, section by section
For writers who prefer a document-like experience over conversation. Structured sections based on the Source of Evidence let the writer build the narrative on their own terms.
What it supports +
- Editable section headings
- Section-specific writing areas
- Optional evidence by section
- Section-level coaching feedback
- Hand off to the Guided Writer
- Fits different writing styles
Readiness check
Helps the MPD understand whether a draft appears ready and where it may need strengthening before final submission preparation.
What it provides +
- Review status
- Organized findings
- Potential & critical gaps
- Supporting evidence review
- Element-level readiness
- Remediation & next steps
A readiness check and feedback workflow — not a guarantee of Magnet® designation outcomes.
Final preparation
Moves a reviewed draft toward final readiness — organizing suggested fixes, decisions, and remaining issues so the MPD can resolve them inside the standard workspace.
What it supports +
- Proposed edits
- MPD decisions on changes
- Handling separate issues
- Tracking what's applied
- Preparing the final state
- Stays tied to the Roadmap
What MPDs and leaders can see.
MPD Studio keeps the final state visible so leadership knows what has been drafted, reviewed, cleaned up, and prepared — across the whole portfolio, not one standard at a time.
Which standards have not started, are drafting, are in review, or are near final readiness.
Where ownership, evidence, review feedback, or final cleanup needs attention.
A practical next action for each standard instead of a static spreadsheet status.
Built around controlled access and conservative data handling.
CEC's operating model is designed around customer isolation, controlled access, and conservative handling of sensitive information.
Customers should submit de-identified narratives and evidence whenever possible. CEC does not solicit or knowingly process PHI.
If PHI is detected, affected processing may stop, the file may be removed from CEC storage, and the customer may be notified to redact and resubmit.
Customer work is kept in customer-specific workspaces, with access controlled through account and session permissions.
Customer data is not used to train public AI models. Intake files are subject to defined retention practices.
The platform is designed to support secure document handling, but customers remain responsible for appropriate de-identification before submission.
Practical outcomes that change the MPD's day-to-day work.
Writing coaching that helps teams build stronger narratives inside the right standard
Evidence review that shows whether attached files actually support the story being told
Documentation analysis that surfaces weak spots, missing context, and readiness risks earlier
Final editing support that turns reviewed drafts into cleaner, submission-ready files
Exportable leadership reports that summarize status, owners, next actions, and portfolio risk
A single Roadmap that replaces manual chasing across spreadsheets, folders, and email
Better continuity between writers, reviewers, editors, and MPD decision points
Less operational drag on the MPD, with clearer work queues and fewer status-check conversations
Built for the people doing the work.
How Magnet Program Directors describe working inside MPD Studio.
The feedback gives me lots of edits that move the needle after I make them — edits that would trip up appraisers and potentially impact our submission. Seriously brilliant.
This is truly amazing.
